Dr David Shaker is a Fertility Specialist and Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based in Rockhampton, Central Queensland.

Dr Shaker graduated from Assiut University, Egypt in 1986. In 1993 he attained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, FRCS. In the same year, he joined the higher specialist training program in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Northern Deanery in the U.K. In 1995 he attained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, MRCOG, London. He worked as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Swindon Hospital UK. In August 2007 he moved to Australia to take a consultant position at the Rockhampton Hospital and attained the Fellowship of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists.
Dr Shaker currently practices as a private obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Rockhampton as well as his role as the Director of UQ Rural clinical School of Medicine, Rockhampton.
